The inner thoughts and feelings of the soul.
The expression of oneself when it's time to vent.
An ourpouring of the soul onto a page.
A flowing expression of your coveted inner thoughts.
A creative form of expression from one's inner self.
The portfolio must contain the following: 1. An introductory quote from another poet about poetry
2. Your three original poems written for this unit:
- Ode
- Sonnet
- Memory poem
3.A statement about your own poetry - at least one-half page long when written on Word (double spaced).You may choose to focus on content, literary strategies, commentary on specific poems...
5. Analysis of these three poems. Analysis should examine the poet's work by providing insight into both individual poems and the poet's work overall. This should be at least one page long when typed in Word (double-spaced). You should be sure to include specific analysis of lines as well as broader statements about the poet's work.
